This is a mandatory program for individuals on probation with the State of Kansas following a conviction for a 3rd or subsequent Driving Under the Influence (DUI) charge. The goal is to support behavior change, reduce recidivism and enhance public safety. The program uses a multidisciplinary team approach to coordinate services; components include individualized substance abuse assessment, placement of clients in clinically indicated services, collaborative team meetings and close communication with client, treatment providers, and corrections staff.

Specialized Care Coordinators assist clients in setting goals and staying engaged in services which may include formal treatment, peer supports or other recovery oriented systems of care. Compliance and progress is monitored to provide additional oversight and accountability to support successful completion of post-release supervision.
