Service Delivery By Heartland RADAC During COVID

Heartland RADAC continues to serve clients while maintaining effective health and safety protocols for both clients and staff.

Heartland RADAC requests that all clients and staff practice safe social distancing recommendations while engaged in services.  All local mandates by local county or municipality health departments, will also be followed. Masks are recommended for any in-person contact, especially if you have not been vaccinated.

In-person Assessments, Case Management, Peer/Recovery Coaching, and Treatment are available.  Phone, and video appointments are available on a limited basis, dependent on client access to a phone or computer.  We are now required to get signatures on releases, as the state of emergency waiver which allowed verbal consent has expired.  Signatures can be obtained via DocuSign, if you have access to a cell phone or email, or you can download the forms from the Release Forms & Notifications link at the bottom of this page.

Please call us at 913-789-0951 or 1-800-281-0029 to schedule an assessment.

Schedulers will ask you a series of questions to determine your eligibility and the type of service (in-person, phone, or video) which will best meet your individual needs.

We Give Thanks for our Volunteers

As we approach Thanksgiving we wanted to take a moment to thank YOU for giving to our organization this past year. As you know, our organization relies on the support of those that donate their time, talents and financial contributions to fulfill our mission. Your efforts don’t go unnoticed as we couldn’t make a difference without your efforts.

As you spend time with friends and family this Thanksgiving and throughout the holiday season, know that we consider you part of our extended family and truly appreciate all that you do. So, from our family to yours we offer some activities you can do this holiday weekend.

  • Get out a board game and have some friendly competition.
  • Let the children help with a special recipe.
  • Get creative and have a craft project ready for the kids to decorate the table while they wait for the meal to be served.
  • Play a game of touch football.
  • Create a family tree by having everyone imprint their hands with finger paint and then have them write their name by their creation.
  • Make a family scrapbook.
  • Have everyone write down three things they’ve been thankful for in the past year and then share.
  • Start decorating for the holidays.

Beautiful things grow when we work together for good.
